The deadline for completing the mandatory eKYC for the PM Kisan scheme has been extended by the central government until July 31, 2022, from the previous deadline of May 31, 2022.


The central government has yet extended the deadline for completing the obligatory eKYC till July 31, 2022, from the earlier deadline of May 31, 2022.

According to a flash on the website, “Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st July 2022.”

On May 31, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 11th tranche of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (or PM Kisan) to more over 10 crore farmers in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, every landholding farmers' families will receive a financial benefit of Rs.6,000 per year, given in three equal instalments of Rs.2000 every four months.

How to complete e-KYC process
Step 1: Visit PM Kisan's official webpage https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2: Click on eKYC option available on right side of the page
Step 3: Enter Aadhaar Card number, captcha code and click on search
Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
Step 5: Click on 'Get OTP' and enter the OTP in the specified field.

If all the details match, eKYC will be completed; otherwise, it will be marked as invalid. You need to contact the local Aadhar Seva Kendra in such cases.

How to check if PM KISAN 11th installment is credited online
Step 1: Visit PM Kisan official website - https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on ‘Beneficiary status’ tab in right corner of the page
Step 3: Enter Aadhaar number or account number
Step 4: Click on ‘Get data’ tab

Depending on the beneficiary, the status will be displayed in detail. Additionally, your name must be on the beneficiary list in order to get the funds.
